Elearning at Ulster has designed an online student induction and support programme to help students prepare for learning online, using WebCT. WebCT is the virtual learning environment (VLE), which the University of Ulster has chosen to use. You will gain access to this induction programme prior to beginning your studies.
As a distance-learning student you will receive support from a number of sources. You will be in contact with your tutors throughout your programme of study. This will be through online discussions, electronic mail, and, perhaps, face to face sessions. In addition, your learning will be supported by the Library and by Student Support personnel.
